'The Heads' of Tomaree and Yacabaa Headlands are located at the entrance to the bluewater wonderland of Port Stephens.
The protected waters of Shoal Bay are home to an iconic jetty where 'jetty jumping', backflips and swimming are a must for all comers in the summer months. The jetty is straight opposite the Shoal Bay Country Club and amonggst the morred yaghts.
The exposed shorelines of Zenith Beach, Wreck Beach and Box Beach all provide great surf and even better photo opportinities.
The Tomaree Coastal Walk starts in Shoal Bay and there are a number of walking trails to explore and the famous summits to climb at Tomaree Headland and Stephens Peak.
